About

Welcome!
We are privileged to have you visit our site today.  If you are looking for a home church, consider becoming part of our wonderful family.

Meet our Pastors…

pjpkRev. Joseph & Katherine Catanese are the founders of Doorway Church in Haskell, NJ. They received the call of God while living in Oklahoma, attended, and graduated from the RHEMA Bible Training College in 1985. Under the Rev. Bob Yandian of Grace Fellowship Church, Joseph and Katherine served in leadership positions of Prayer Room Counseling, Emergency Altar Call Ministries, and Personal Contact Directorships.

Studying under the ministries of Dr. Kenneth E. Hagin and Rev. Bob Yandian gave Joseph and Katherine a deep respect and understanding of God’s uncompromising Word. You will be enriched and grow deeper in Christ by the teaching and preaching of the Word of God.

We are a multi-cultural, multi-faceted church designed to grow believers into mature Christians who enjoy life and walk in victory. Through God’s love and the power of the Holy Spirit, we purpose to be of one heart and mind saying…”We are the hands, feet and voice of Jesus!”

Our Mission
To reach all people with the unfailing love of Jesus Christ, being totally committed to our Lord and to one another as a loving family.  By our love, we are a light set on a hill for all to see Jesus in us.

Our Vision
We honor and uphold the Word of God (the Bible) as the final word of authority of resolve in all of life’s challenges.

• To help families become strong and restored.

• To see impossible situations changed by the power of God.

• To provide a strong spiritual setting which leads people to faith, prayer and worship.

• To be a strong local church where people of every ethnic and cultural diversity are in loving fellowship with God and one another.

• To be a church where gifts and talents of God are discovered and developed within its members.

• A place where lives are changed – spiritually, emotionally, physically, financially and socially.

• To support local evangelism within our community as well as world missions, reaping God’s Harvest in our hearts and minds.
